Quality, Performance, Reliability

Ball valves are quarter-turn valves used in residential, commercial, and institutional applications to control the on-off flow of liquids and gases. Ball valves are available from 3/8” to 4” sizes in PVC, CPVC, ABS, PP, PVDF, and most commonly specified and used for on/off service, while profiled ball valves are available for throttling applications in 1/2” to 2” sizes.

Multi-port ball valves (e.g., 3-way ball valves) allow for mixing, diverting, and bypassing flow and are available from 1/2” to 2” sizes. Industrial grade ball valves should feature full port flow, smooth internal components, a minimum 220 psi pressure rating, integral mounting options, cushioned Teflon seats, double O-ring stem seals with shear points below the seal, blocking true union ends, and built-in tools that allow for simple installation and maintenance.

product overview

The VKR Dual Block® Regulating Ball Valve is designed to meet the requirements of the most severe industrial applications. Like a traditional shut-off ball valve, the VKR has a 90° operating angle which allows the use of a standard quarter-turn actuator, ensuring perfect alignment and reducing the torque required for actuation. The patented Dual Block® mechanism locks the union nuts in place preventing back-off during severe service conditions.

VKR Regulating Ball Valve is a part of our complete system of IPEX pipe, valves, and fittings, engineered and manufactured to our strict quality, performance, and dimensional standards. It can be found in applications such as:

  • Precise Flow Regulation
  • Acid Products Handling for Refineries, Metal Works, etc.
  • Alum and Ferric Chloride Handling
  • Bleach, Dye, and Acid Lines
  • Chlorine injection, chlorine dioxide, and chloralkali plant piping
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Plant chemical distribution lines
  • Water and wastewater treatment

The TKD offers a host of advanced features that set it apart from other multi-port valves. Multi-port ball valves allow for mixing, diverting, and bypassing flow. material options provide for complete chemical compatibility in highly corrosive processes.
