Innovative compressed air and inert gas distribution system

Duratec® pipe has a unique composite structure consisting of a rigid yet lightweight and flexible aluminum core, sandwiched between layers of durable polyethylene of raised temperature (PE-RT). The PE-RT layers provide corrosion resistance against aggressive manufacturing environments while eliminating the inner scaling and corrosion associated with traditional metal compressed air pipes. Duratec® fittings are supplied in tough nickel-plated brass or stainless steel and utilize unique double O-ring seals to ensure long-term joint integrity.

product overview

Duratec® pipe comes in long 100-foot or 300-foot coils, which significantly reduces the number of joints in your system. Duratec® fittings feature unique double O-ring seals to ensure long-term joint integrity. The entire Duratec® system can be easily and quickly installed, modified, or expanded without the need for specialized equipment. Often used in applications such as:

  • Plant Air
  • Inert gas distribution
  • Robotic installations
  • Manufacturing hand tool operation
  • Micro bulk inert gas delivery systems
  • Manual and automated welding operations

features & benefits

Traditional metallic compressed air systems are the main cause of unnecessary energy use, excessive wear and tear on compressors and high consumption of compressor oils and filters. Most common excessive wear would be due to corrosion and leakage at pipe joints and fitting connections, which often go undetected until they’re discovered during a detailed compressed air system audit.

  • Corrosion Resistant
  • Quick Removable Connections
  • Low Operating and Installation Costs
  • Fewer Fittings
